Yes, I am also a creative writer. Training in writing fiction and poetry has helped me develop my technical and organizational writing. The experience has given life to business reports, memos, and surveys.

My philosophy is that if you have to read something, why not read something enjoyable?

That doesn't mean that I add haikus to my professional writing (well, I did do that once), but it does mean that I can be concise, understandable, conversational, and even spunky if the job calls for it.
