SatisFi Design

sat・is・fy |ˈsatisˌfī|
verb ( -fies, -fied) [trans.]
to meet the expectations, needs, or desires of

You have a need. That need could be a need for writing, for editing, for design, for photography, for illustrations. If you have a creative team with writers, editors, designers, photographers, and illustrators, well, then you go to them and let them figure things out for you. And they fight over comma rules, or can’t decide between fuschia and puce, or portrait or landscape. Meanwhile, as thesauruses and color swatches are flying through the air, you are wondering if you will ever get a say in the finished product, or if their price tag will find you living in a cardboard condo on the corner of 5th and Main.

But if you want to have your opinions heard, if you want to be valued as a human being, and if you want quality work done by a professional without cashing in your savings, then maybe SatisFi Design is your answer.

At SatisFi Design, there’s no fees, foes, or fumbles.

No fees—By eliminating the middle man, like an agency, and hiring a freelancer directly, you get to keep their costly gratuities in your pockets.

No foes—Let’s leave the fighting and drama to prime time TV. My policy is 100% respect. I might voice my opinions from time to time, but the customer always gets the final say.

No fumbles—I ask questions to get something right the first time. By keeping the lines of communication open, we can work together to make sure the final product makes you happy. And if you don’t like something, I fix it. How’s that for service?

regarding Lara

As a college student with too many interests, I could never decide whether I wanted to pursue writing, graphic design, or photography as a career, so I decided to pursue them all. I knew I wanted to work for small organizations and non-profits. I also knew I'd eventually want the flexibility to be a work at home mother.

So in 2008, I started freelancing and created what is now SatisFi Design. I have worked with teachers, pastors, bookstores, non-profit organizations, departments of education, lecturers, small businesses, brides, mothers, and more.

I'm like a caterpillar in a world of bumblebees. I value being more than doing, quality more than quantity. I channel my focus and efforts into my passions, and I am passionate about creating and giving people what they need. I am an idealistic realist who devotes herself to details while considering the whole picture. I like trying new things, but I will never like shellfish or raw tomatoes. I am the type of person who lives by the railroad tracks and still gets excited every time a train goes by.
